Bookkeeper Part-time

REPORTS TO: Finance Director
SUPERVISES: None
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
SALARY: $21 Per/Hour, 25 hours weekly

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Finance Director shall perform varied accounting duties and other assigned duties

Essential Functions
•Preparation of journal for entries for activities
•Prepare various necessary fiscal reports
•Assist the Finance Director in the preparation of all financial statements
•Prepare Actual vs. Budget Statements for all funds
•Research variances for Actual vs. Budget
•Assist in the preparation of the annual budget
•Reconcile all Balance Sheet Accounts
•Reconcile bank accounts
•Maintain spreadsheets for reporting
•Insure that management has up to date financial reports
•Prepare quarterly reports
•Have working knowledge of fund accounting
•Certify time and attendance
•Other duties as assigned
•Back-up for Payroll and Accounts Payable
•Ability to prepare 1099’s

MINIMUM Qualifications
•Ten (10+) years work experience as a Bookkeeper
•Ability to make accurate entries and mathematical calculations accurately
•Four (4) years computer experience in accounting
•Accufund Accounting Software a plus
•MS Excel and Word proficiency

KNOWLEDGE, Skills AND ABILITIES
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectually present information and to respond to questions from groups of managers.

•Must successfully clear a criminal history background check.
•Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and maintain such license throughout the duration of employment. Must have a reasonably clean driving record and be eligible for coverage under the Tribe’s vehicle insurance policy.

Employment with Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria is voluntary entered into. All FIGR personnel are employed on an at-will basis. At-will employment may be terminated with or without cause and with or without notice at anytime by the employee or FIGR.
